A while back, I got my first tattoo. It was one of those things that I always wanted to do but just never found the courage or inspiration to just GO FOR IT! After I mentioned the idea to Clinton, he was full steam ahead. "Let's do it Kiki!" (that's my hot grandma name) The next thing I knew, we were at a tattoo parlor and we were getting tattoos! I remember feeling the confidence that I could have only felt by having the right person by my side telling me that I could do it! He had done this a million times before so I knew that I could trust him when he said: "You can do this!". Business is just like that. When you have the right encouragement, and the counsel of someone who has been there and done that... it makes all of the difference in the world. I am a firm believer in surrounding yourself with people that are in the place you want to be. If you want to be successful, you surround yourself with successful people, if you want to be wealthy, you surr

I just finished a danceathon in my kitchen with my youngest daughter. She is a Senior in High School and just a few short months away from graduation. After working all day, working out, running errands, and getting dinner on the table (I picked up Saigon take out!)... I got into my comfy clothes and cuddled up with my laptop and a glass of red wine to get some marketing work done.  Just as I opened up my mac, she came flying into my room and said: "Put your socks on, mom!". I asked her why but she just kept repeating herself, "Just put your socks on and come downstairs!" So, I did.  As I made my way down the stairs, she qued up Alexa and started dancing and I immediately joined in. We were laughing, dancing, and singing like absolute fools! There was a blanket of emotions that covered me as we playfully slid around on the kitchen floor with each other making up crazy dance moves and showing our sass ! This was a memory in the making and I was taking it all in. I co

It's not easy keeping up with what's hot. Staying ahead of the consumer is truly a full-time job in itself! Clinton and I talk about how to stay ahead of the game and what we should do next to make sure that we get the largest piece of the pie. (that is why we work out, roid out, use HGH and get Botox!!! LOL!Jk Jk) But for real, we have a few business tips that we have found to be SUPER useful! 1. Pinterest - One of our favorite resources for identifying current trends is by using Pinterest. You can simply search for any category that is relevant to your business and scroll through the plethora of posts to see what is popular. Getting your inspiration for new styles from sources that speak to the masses is just smart business. 2. Instagram - Insta can be a bit of a learning curve but once you figure it out... it is AMAZING! We follow similar business models to get ideas for promotions and products! We are careful to look for businesses or product lines that have a lot

Clinton Douglas and Kari Lea Owners- Infinity Designs It’s not your typical story, but the best ones rarely are! As you know, I have been raised as a city girl and have become accustomed to the pomp and circumstance that accompanies the jewelry industry.  Clinton Douglas was raised in the country, embodying everything you would expect of a "good ole' boy". Until a month ago, he was a concrete worker. Clinton and I have had a long-standing friendship and have seen each other through many ups and downs. Most people would definitely describe us as an unlikely pair. But, we would both argue that it’s our diversity that has not only made us best friends but an unstoppable duo as business partners! When we first decided to team up professionally, we looked for a bench jewelry class to enroll Clinton into. It didn’t take long to locate a stone setting class in Lafayette, Louisiana - home of the largest jewelry distributor in the WORLD, Stuller Inc. and WE WERE OFF

Have you ever had one of those days?  Clinton Douglas and Kari Lea  (Owners- Infinity Designs ) at Henry T's Nothing, and I mean NOTHING goes right. For the sake of all sanity, you have to say “F (forget) THIS DAY!” and just walk away from the grind. Today was that kind of day for me and my partner in crime! It didn’t matter how small or large the task was... everything Clinton Douglas and I touched,  turned to “shiitake”(mushrooms)!  If you are an entrepreneur, like us, you have days like this under your belt. It seems like the harder you try the worse things get until that glorious moment when one of you looks over at the other in total defeat and says those magical words... “Efff this day! Let’s go get a Bloody Mary!” And this my friends is exactly why he is the ZING to my ZANG! Lol!!!  I share this with you because there is something reassuring about knowing that you aren’t alone. If I had experienced this day solo, there is no doubt it would have end
